So, this was a smallish Christmas for me. Most of the Christmas goodies went to various people's kids, but that's okay. Some of my favorite items of the day are below.

$150 in cash and gift cards = Wii! And Wii Sports Resort. And Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

Back Scratcher. AKA kitty toy and back scratcher. Kitties are a bit confused by it, but hey.

Some very very tasty homemade treats (chocolate fudge, peanut butter fudge, ranch oyster crackers, chocolate and butterscotch covered chow mein noodles) from my Aunt.

And, of course, a ton of leftover food. The joys of Breakfast at my Mom's and dinner at Keith's sister's.

Lots of stuff was acquired as Christmas Loot this year. Got gift cards usable at Olive Garden or Red Lobster. I also got a nice scarf that came with gloves (which I have really good gloves from a previous Christmas still, so these will be backup gloves). I got a cooler/thermos dealie (travel sized, probably good for lunches that require bigger packaging). Some of the super exciting things for me were a 16" electric skillet and a jug of real maple syrup. :) Now I must make pancakes. :) Also got Rachael Ray 365: No Repeats. Lots of recipes in there for me to make. And [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi's sister made me a hat which fits perfectly and is very very warm.

Speaking of, [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi got Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (with a guitar, so we now have two!) and a Garmin. There were other things (same scarf/gloves set I got and another of the cooler/thermos thingies), but really. Those two right there sorta win over the rest. ;) Well, okay, he likes his pajama set, too.

Well, I wound up coming home last night. Got some WoW time in that wsan't completely unproductive. And I'm getting some WoW Presents this morning. heh. About to get off of the computer and head out to my mom's though. The fun starts around 10ish there. :)

Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. :) Or insert other apropriate holiday of your choice in that statement.

Spent the morning getting some bag issues sorted out in WoW.

Now it's off to [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi's sister's for Christmas Eve. Not sure if I'm staying the night, as Christmas Morning stuff is being done at my mom's (aunt's) at 10ish or so tomorrow morning.

LOOT!

So, I have to geek out over something that [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi got for Christmas. This. It's AWESOME! Used it to make breakfast this morning. Large bread slices don't quite work right in it (they're too tall), but standard bread slices should work fine in it. The egg came out perfect. My only "complaint" is that it toasts the bread in the middle of the egg cooking cycle, so the toast isn't hot hot when it comes out (I like hot toast for my egg sandwiches).

My loot wasn't quite as shiny up front, but I did get some very very awesome gift cards ($50 to Red Lobster and $50 to Best Buy) which will be very very nice to redeem. :)

OH! And I got a really cool leather duffel bag which I used to carry all my stuff home with!

And a pizza making kit that came with a pizza slicer (which I've been wanting to buy one for a while now)!

And a box of seasonings that was apparently a Little Ceasers Fund Raising kit item.

And a box of seasoned Tobasco sauces (which [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi will use, but it's okay, I've stolen his toaster).

And chocolate. Mmm. Chocolate.

And some balm/body wash combo thing that'll give me, er, bees Burt's Bees variety pack.

And a Target Gift Card.

So, considering I couldn't get anyone anything and could barely make it out to visit family anyway this year, I made out pretty well. Add to that all the gift cards [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi got (holy god there is a lot of it) we're not doing to bad at all.
