jdotmi | The Buffy-a-thon

So. Yesterday when I got home from work at 8:30 in the morning, I started playing EverQuest. I was having fun, chatting a lil bit, getting honest to goodness XP for my work. But, I got kinda bored and antsy and was thinking too much. See, roomate wasn't home when I got home. Sorta put me in a funk.

So, I decided I was going to go watch some episodes of Buffy.

Some turned into half of the second season.

I did, of course, get some constructive time done. Got about 5 CDs worth of stuff burned off of my computer. And I re-defragged my hard drive. I was quite pleased with myself.

So, anyway, I was watching Buffy. Had some snackies, ordered some pizza, watched some more buffy. Decided after about 11 episodes that I was going to stop. Turned off the TV and the DVD player. Apartment was silent.

I went and had a full blown Les Mis moment. More like a full blown Les Mis half hour. Like, I up and sang "On My Own" in my fucking living room. (

I then decided that stopping had been a bad idea and watched a couple more episodes of Buffy, had another minor Les Mis moment, and went to bed.

You'd think that this wouldn't still be happening after 4 months, right?
