Only good thing about working the Midnight shift...
Early morning sunlight... This is the only time I really ever see it this time of year. I mean, I see it on my drive in to work during the week, but on my ride home and the rest of my day it's pretty much gone. But, weekends are another matter entirely. I can see it on my ride home and pretty much until I go to sleep. Sometimes it's still there when I wake up in the afternoon, depending on when I go to sleep.
It's probably the only thing that keeps me from falling asleep on my drives home, which I don't really think is a good thing.
On a totally unrelated note, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 is fun. I just need to figure out how to actually build a damn coaster. I had a really really good one going, but I fucked it up. I'm going to re-create it, I think. I mean, it initially had a really decent excitement rating for a coaster with no scenery. Intensity was a little high, but that was to be expected. I just couldn't get a decent ending section to work out. I suppose I should have not built it as high as I did, because the first drop was insane. Fun, but insane. I guess I should have just left it with the initial build that wound up with a 6.5 excitement, even though the end of it was, well, pretty much one long straight portion of track, two banked curves, another long straight portion of track, and some brakes.
Ah well. Live and learn and whatnot.
On another totally unrelated note, I can't type worth shit this morning. Must be that lack of sleep thing I'm dealing with. Thankfully, I am still proficient with the use of the backspace key, otherwise this post would be completely unintelligible.
...
Note to self: Don't type words longer than 6 letters long at 7:53am on Sunday morning after only having gotten four hours of sleep in the previous day.
