Gaming Stuff:
Got the requisite day off from Booth. Still waiting to hear about the main job (Borders). Pretty sure I have it. My supervisor just got back in to work today since she'd been off sick for a couple days. Even if I don't get it off from Borders that still means we don't have a game curfew. ^_^ I can subsist on a couple hours of sleep for the day at Borders. ^_^

Work is Sorta Hell:
We've had all sorts of fun system issues at work this week. Servers croaking here, servers croaking at some of our vendors. It's been much fun. You know, in that "Here, let me put my hand in that high-speed industrial blender you've got there" kind of way... It hasn't been all bad. Been doing lots of reading. Heck, chatted with co-workers about my current obsession (which they share!) and found out that my trainer actually plays on the same server I do. :-p
Also, some mysterious and unnamed person left a Buffy book on my desk at the end of last week. We get free stuff all the time here. This is an alternate-reality book about EvilWillow! It starts off with the filet-o-Warren, but then it changes. It's apparently going to be a three book set.
We did get a new toy of sorts at work at the end of last week. I really really like said toy. Speeds up my life considerably here at work. Now we just have to get more like it. :-p
Anti-Social:
I've noticed that I haven't done a whole lot of hanging out with local friends of late. I go through periods of this, so it's not like it is unusual or anything. Most of my friends are a 30 minute drive away, and that just sucks. Especially when you have the kind of schedule I have. As it is now, most of my "social" life happens when I game. Of course, then it is usually people coming to our place for that, but still. Of course, our place would hopefully stay clean if people came out to it more, but oh well. At some point I will hang out with people again. :-p Really, I will!
Well, time to get back to work. Got lots of stuff to follow up on. :-p
