This is how deep in a cave I am. Unless it's raining hard enough for me to hear it on the roof, I have no idea what it's doing outside until I leave.

The part of the building I'm in doesn't have a second and third story. We have empty space above us for about a half story, so we hear rain loud and clear. ~_~ It's kinda cool, but also very annoying when the umbrella is in the car. :-p

I tried to wait out the downpour before running out to my car. When it didn't let up, I said, "screw it", and out I went to get wet.

And, of course, as soon as I got in my car, it let up.
