Honestly, unless something is blaring red alerts 24 x 7 (aka smoking) I ignore all of these types of proclamations. If they were right on all their 'causes' every person would have cancer and the race would be extinct.

Sadly, aside from the obvious ones, the reality is that they have no clue really what causes a lot of cancer. I see it as taking shots in the dark, sooner or later they'll hit something but they're going to waste a lot of ammo in the process.

We've had a couple of family friends who were doctors, and were my doctors my entire life, and they pretty much say that exact thing. Science is floundering in a lot of cancer areas, so a lot of mistakes are made.

NEWSFLASH!!!

People who breathe are more likely to get cancer than people who don't!

Oh crap, I'm screwed now. Can't hold my breath for more than a couple of minutes, tops.

Well, the sleep tips make sense. I don't buy the connection to cancer though :p

Yeah. I'm like "Well, if you count that many night shift workers smoke/work in sedentary type positions/don't sleep well then OF COURSE they're less likely to be healthy..."
