Monday Morning Update
Food:
McDonald's is evil. It's all I ate yesterday (not counting Doritos and Mountain Dew), but it is still evil.
Anybody up for an eating out escapade tonight? Not in a Red Robin mood, though. Of course, I could be convinced. Sorta in a Cottage Inn mood, but, eh, that may change by 5:30.
Vacation:
I am now officially off of vacation. Back to the daily grind for me. This is ok, though. I'm glad to be back. For once my vacation felt like a vacation. It didn't seem short and I had a good time. It was very nice to be able to spend time with Keith for the week, even if we were ready for alone time by the end of the week. :-p The kittens were very excited to have our attention all week as well. Aside from those times they were being scolded. :-p
Keith and I having vacation together is slightly dangerous. We bought a lot of stuff. Already posted about that, though. Well, most of it.
The other fun side effect of vacation time. I didn't write much in my journal. :-p Or read much. Did some big ol' cram sessions to catch up on reading, but, well, to be honest, I'm not going back over a weeks worth of posts on my friends list which can span 2+ pages per day with 50 posts per page. :-p Not gonna happen. And that's with a default view that excludes communities.
Gaming:
Gamed last night. Started far later than I would have liked, but I had a lot of fun. Got to play Miranda and Lisa and Bei Ling. I actually need to call John and run something really quickly for what happened after I left, since Lisa needs to talk with Allison again before Mobius gets ahold of her. If I hadn't been so tired last night, I would have done it then. As it was, I came up with it just as I was leaving John's place.
The session was more or less a success. We derailed a few times, but less than usual. We actually had periods of quiet where everyone was focused on the game. This was good. A lot of information came out, but to various people in various ways. Bei Ling met a man who seemed to be touched by the Wyld, but she didn't find out exactly what he was (Mokele). The two a key plot point, but having no connection to other PCs means that information is unlikely to be spread to anyone else in the party.
Lisa got roped into doing recon by her boss. In typical fashion, she was told less than she needed to know for her job, found out more than her boss would have wanted her to know, and then called him on it and demanded an explanation. She's such a snippy lil Tremere. :-p Of course, I had to leave before the situation was resolved, and she still has so much other work to deal with, but she can handle it.
Miranda finally got to finish her cliffhanger scene in the school, and got to get back to work with the main portion of the plot. She's still off on the side, which is ok for now, but she's back in the game and things are going to get interesting.
I'm probably only going to wind up with two write-ups for the game. One for Lisa, who actually had a lot happen, and an OOC write up for Miranda and Bei Ling. Miranda's scene was good, but it was too short to write up in a big fashion.
Buffy:
Series finale tomorrow night. If you attempt to call me tomorrow night, you will be hurt. Severely. If people want to come watch with, they are more than welcome to. There will be no interrupting of my Buffy-watchage, though. You interrupt, you die. ^_^
Road Rage:
Erm... The default "high score" of 10k? Erm... I think it's now number 6 on our high score list...
I got the rating of "Gazelle" once...
