Have I gushed here about this yet? I don't think I have. I think I need to begin the gushing now. There shall be much gushing.
Neverwinter Nights kicks ass. I'm having way too much fun doing this stuff right now.
The official campaign is a decent story. Fun, moves along fairly well so far. Done some multi-player, but it felt like Diablo because of how fast we were blowing through it. :-p Of course, we all had pathetically low levels though. I was level 3. :-p
This game really shines in the toolset though. ^_^ I think I died and went to heaven or something. ^_^ Too bad I can't script in C worth shit. :-p Then I could have a lot of fun here.
I do have some complaints. No prestige classes, lack of going past level 20, only allowed 3 classes max, and the utter lack of Elven Chainmail. ¬_¬ That's vaguely annoying.
TOOLSET!!! Back to the toolset!!! Clothing is FUN!!! ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ I'm going to make a line of custom clothing for the game!!!!! I HAVE TO I MUST DO THIS AAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
~_~
I've been playing far too much Anarchy Online for my own sanity... fashion is everything...
BUT BUT BUT!!!! I have some problems with the way armor works. The type of armor you are actually wearing is based on the appearance of the TORSO graphic. Ok, no biggie, right? WRONG! I want to make elven chain, base it off of a cloth or padded armor, change the appearance to look right, and I suddenly have scale mail??? WTF???? ARRGH!! Elven Chainmail is like a staple of the Forgotten Realms you ninnys!!
¬_¬
This game so rocks though. You can do pretty well anything you want, especially with someone playing as the DM. ^_^ My D&D campaign world may see the light of day yet!
