Nice to be appreciated

So, I've been getting compliments on my work lately. It's nice, but embarassing. I don't like compliments. :-p I always wind up thinking "I'm just doing my job..." and then I wonder if other people do their jobs or if I'm unique in the world. It's kinda creepy.

But, it's nice to go back to my department and have my manager be all excited because so-and-so gave her a compliment about my work on this project. It bodes well for future promotions and raises and stuff.

Eating my dinner right now. Cleaned up the living room a little bit (I'm spoiling my furniture) and now eating dinner while my laundry dries. Debating playing the Sims some or going to play Super Smash Brothers some more.
