My weekend

Had a pretty good weekend. Was expecting to be a zombie in need of lots of sleep, but was ok. Work was boring as all hell, of course, but otherwise it was good. Saturday was a fairly blah day. I slept in very late. Got up at like 4:30 or so. Considering I had gone to bed at 8:30 am that's pretty good for me. Got up and vegged out basically. Watched some TV and left for work. Keith had gone to his sister's for his B-day dinner and whatnot. He was happy with his presents.

Worked. That was dull. Watched some movies, played some Freecell, played some Mah Jong. All was well in the world. Got home at 8:30. Stayed up half an hour, then went to nap. Napped until around noonish. Got online and started chatting with livininoz. Wound up packing up some games and DVDs and driving out to visit him. That was a fucking riot. Played some Super Smash Bros. Melee. Played some Mario Sunshine. Then watched Project A-ko (cheesy Magical Girl/Huge Mecha Anime with TONS of lesbian sub-text) and watched Margaret Cho's I'm the one that I want.

He had never seen anything of Margaret Cho's.

nissyen and I thought he was going to explode. We know he wasn't breathing properly.

Had a lil dinner while I was there then drove home. nissyen is an AWESOME cook. Even for something that was just a "lil" thing as he put it.

Drive home was not fun. 9pm at night on 275 after only 3 hours of sleep in the last 24 hours is not fun. Got home safe and sound and zonked out.

Hoping to start gaming soon! I need to make characters though. ~_~ Yeah, who'da thunkit. Me without a ream of ready-made characters for once in my life. Concept.

(no subject)

To say work has sucked today would be an understatement. To say that I wish I were doing something where I feel like I have accomplished something like, oh, say, my real job would be an understatement. Yeah it's nice getting compliments from all these people about how good the work I am doing is on this project, but if the project weren't such a flying piece of shit it would have been done a year ago and I wouldn't have to put up with it now.

And I feel a little sick to my stomach and I'm ready to go to bed now.
