Waking up: I was actually able to wake up this morning at a semi-decent time. Still an hour later than I wanted to wake up, but I woke up. Managed to get to work early at that.

Funding: Not broke! Go me! I am thinking of taking back the bottles in the apartment (and the huge pile I have here at work) and taking the cash I get back from it and depositing it into my checking account. I'm not in a panic yet, but my insurance payment will be deducted on Wednesday, which is the same day my Booth paycheck gets deposited, and that's cutting it just a hair close. Plus I need to renew my membership so that I keep said insurance going. :-p That would be good. :-p

Gaming: Still haven't read anything more in my new books. I think [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi was reading one of the new books I bought, Dark Ages: Werewolf, but I'm not certain. I'm hoping to invite my friend Scott to come game with my Sunday group for a little bit before he winds up moving to Georgia. (I so don't want him to move, but that's another story entirely and, ultimately, pretty silly at this point.) I would invite [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi to game, but he's working Sunday's and he would hate it with a fiery passion. I know he can tolerate some of my friends who would be there, but there's no way in hell he'd put up with Jimmy.

Speaking of, I saw Jimmy at the Underworld when I was buying my most recent batch of books. Didn't tell him that Lisa ate his character's childe. Going to wait to spring that news on him. :-p

I really hope that [livejournal.com profile] amberthistle and Ed can come to game this weekend! I'm so excited about them having a new place and all, but I miss them being at game!!

I said I would start doing some game reviews and game book reviews. Just for the hell of it, I'll start with Demon. At some point I'll probably come up with some rating systme, but for now you will just have to suffer with me rambling about the game.

This review is based entirely on the core rulebook for Demon: The Fallen. It does not include any of the supplements for the game.

Administration: Re-added (again) [livejournal.com profile] werecub to my friends list. Go go yo-yo friends list! o_O One of these days my mouse will explode from all the clicking. Random observation: His current user pic reminds me of my friend Ryan if he had brown hair and the ability to actually grow facial hair. O_o Bizzare.

Lunch: Once again, too much food. This time, at least, it wasn't a horrendous amount of too much food. Comfortably full. Have half an hour to let it settle before I actually have to try to be productive again at work.

Vacation: No, I don't have one. Yet. I need one. Badly. I'm thinking of finding a Monday and Tuesday to just take off of work and use some of my vacation time for it. That way I can game on Sunday and not worry about going home. If I need to pass out at John's I'll do so. :-p I'd really like to be able to go back to the non-standard work weeks they let us have before. I'd so go for 4 ten hour days if I could do that.

Alrighty then. I started typing this (amid distractions) at 1:00. :-p Going to post it now. Save other garbage for later.

1. Do you like talking on the phone? Why or why not?

--Sometimes. It really depends. If I'm not doing anything else I don't mind it. Some friends I can speak with for hours on the phone without issue. Othertimes it's all I can do to just not hang up the phone. Of course, I love telemarketers. Nothing like screaming obscenities into the phone to make your day. Just kidding. I don't usually cuss out telemarketers. I just hang up on them.

2. Who is the last person you talked to on the phone?

--An employee at one of our stores.

3. About how many telephones do you have at home?

--There are three telephones plugged in and two or three that are in storage.

4. Have you encountered anyone who has really bad phone manners? What happened?

--I consider anyone who is a telemarketer to have very bad phone manners. I probably told them, politely, to go fuck themselves and then hung up.

5. Would you rather pick up the phone and call someone or write them an e-mail or a letter? Why or why not?

--Instant Messaging all the way. I don't really check emails enough (or send them) to be a good way of contacting someone if I really want to get ahold of them. It's good for a quick FYI but that's about it. If they're not online, I try calling them. If they're not answering the phone, I leave a voice mail. If they don't have voice mail, then it sucks to be them.
