Gaming Goodness
I cut my hair yesterday! Well, cut isn't the right word. Buzzed is the right word. Basically, I was driving home from work yesterday morning, got home, looked in my rearview mirror and said "I have 80's hair..." I opted to end that train of thought. :-p
So now I have a nice buzz cut again. It needs touching up (missed a couple tufts) but it's nice and cool and non-long.
Game night came and EVERYONE was there before
templar_rose. :-p His flippin house, and he's the last one to show. So typical.
;-)
Not complaining. He got to spend a long time yesterday with his daughter, so he's gladly forgiven for that one. And he was in a VERY good mood when he got home. Game started and things flew.
The game went relatively quickly. There was a small number of scenes (which is a good thing, seeing as how we started very late) but it was basically the last cleanup from what was left of the Giovanni bad guy stuff. Now we have a new bad guy to deal with. Fun fun.
zute69's character Awakened. Bummed out Jimmy. He had wanted to embrace her. Oh well.
Jimmy did luck out, though. My character decided she didn't really want him dead so warned him against doing something which would have been very much fatal.
My Demon didn't have any scenes. No biggie. There was really nothing for her to do. Miranda only had one scene, but she learned something very nasty in it. Lisa had lots to do. And she got to play with fire some. So that was good
It was really cool to have such a large contingent of the old Forgotten Realms campaign there.
griffonisrex,
zute69,
templar_rose, me, and Drez. Much fun was had. Drez made a Malkavian punk rocker. Hehe. That was cool. More lunatics is always good. Hilly actually made the various personalities of Zute to possibly bring in. She also made "Glossy", a Malkavian combination of Drusilla and Glorificus from Buffy. Hehe. Evil evil evil.
roderickthered's girlfriend came to game too. This would be "Holly from Schuler's" whom I mentioned in my journal a few days back. She had a nice lorekeeper to bring in, but never got a scene.
Did I mention the game started at 9pm? Did I mention I left at about 2:30 am? Did I mention the huge ass amount of fog that I couldn't see through on my drive home or that I wound up going to bed at about 3:30am?
That was not as fun.
Just as I was leaving, Alexander (Jimmy's character) found the broken chains that had been holding his not-so-loyal childe to the ritual chamber and the broken door to the ceiling.
Favorite line? An out of character remark by
griffonisrex: I think we just got screwed. (re: Lisa going up to Alexander using Obfuscate and telling him to not be near the dias when the briefcase came down... because it fall down go BOOM!)
