pffffffffffffffffffft
Sunday (non-gaming):
I slept. Lots. Got home from work, stayed up for a little bit, then went to sleep. Managed to sleep off and on for about 6 hours or so. Got things planned with people, was going to do a quick journal entry, but totally forgot to do so.
Backtracking a bit, I did very little of anything at work on Sunday. I napped some, got my work all done very early, and even made a character. I had printed off a few Vampire Revised sheets to do a few characters, but by the time I was coherent enough to work on them, I only had enough time to (almost) do one.
So, I did some reading, did some working, etc etc etc.
Gaming:
Gaming was a little funky this week. Actually, little funky doesn't cut it. Some people were half asleep, some were metagaming a bit much.
templar_rose actually overruled an in-character conversation because of metagaming. That was kinda interesting.
Things became a little insane in the game. Various characters started working against eachother in the game (easily manipulated is the easiest way to describe it) and I think one character realized he was in danger (of course, the player was metagaming like crazy and did not help matters any, y'all can guess who it was). We had a couple new characters appear. We got a Bubasti, who really didn't do much, and an Ananasi who has eaten a few too many Scorpions in her day.
The group dynamic has started to fray a bit. There are too many characters. Yeesh, never thought I'd say that. Fortunately, John is taking a suggestion of mine on some of the "background" player characters. My demon is a "supporting" cast member who will only show up as needed. There are a few of us with multiples or who want to have multiples. As much as I'm all for playing multiple characters, I think, with this group, it's problematic at best.
Too many people. I mean, this is just crazy. Maybe it's just the immense lack of focus we had during the game, but, yeesh. Crazyness.
Pager Duty:
Week 2. Hooray. Not.
The guy who was supposed to take it is very ill, so I volunteered to keep it. Hope he feels better soon.
