Monday Morning Update

Administration:
Happy birthday, zute69!!!!!

Gaming:
Due to zute69's birthday party last night, gaming was somewhat abbreviated. This was ok. Got to run Miranda's Seeking. Well, correction. I got into the loading program for her seeking. ;-) She has 48 hours to play with her new toys in order to complete her Seeking. So, for the moment, she's Neo. ;-)

Sleepiness:
I had been up for around 24 hours when I drove home from game last night. Got home before midnight. However, the car ride home was interesting. I kept seeing things just off the edge of my peripheral vision that were no there. Lights on trees when my headlights had passed and there were no cars behind me, shadows bounding about the bushes as if there were animals there. Stuff like that. At one point, I did see a real black dog on the side of the road by the old high school. I then started to get very slight vertigo while going up and down the hilly portion of M36.

Being the not really pagan, mostly christian, slightly spiritually neurotic person that I am, I knew exactly what it wasn't. I tried to get my Mom to drive at that point, but instead simply forced myself to wake up.

satyr_mi can attest to the fact that I was a babbling idiot when I got home. Thank god for the 3 24 oz bottles of Mt Dew I had during the course of gaming to keep my ass awake.

The Matrix:
There was a big Matrix theme in game last night, due in no small part to the nature of Miranda's seeking. Also due in in no small part to use watching Animatrix before gaming started.

I am so buying that DVD. It kicked all sorts of ass.

Working Out:
Once again, dianak and I will be working out together! 15 minutes a day, 4 days a week is my plan for now. Upping the time probably after two weeks. Or one week if I'm feeling brave. Probably more like in two weeks though.
