Tuesday Morning Update
Reading:
I've been reading through the Harry Potter series again. Just finished book 4 last night. Starting on book 5 again at lunch today. I read books way too fast. :-p
Dreams:
Had some weird dreams last night. Something about merging a website database with another. That one had my sister and her daughter in it. The dream sorta continued on and switched to the next one, which had me going through a box of candy and one of them being a figurine of Starfire. I thought it was really cool and showed it to a girl, who agreed that
shadesong would want to see it, so I went into the next room (I think the girl was supposed to be Elayna, but I'm not sure, definitely didn't look like her) where
shadesong was lying on top of a desk reading a book or something. Could only see her from the waist up, because the rest of her was hidden underneath the shelves above the desk. Random. Showed her the figurine, then I woke up.
Bizzare. :-p
Monday?:
Had nothing to write about yesterday, so I'll fake my Monday update here. :-p
I didn't go to game on Sunday (apparently, not many did). Stayed home. Intended on cleaning. Instead, played CivIII (I am SO buying a copy now since Keith takes it to work), played Neverwinter Nights, read, played with Kitties, who were quite happy to have me home all day. Then slept.
Our TV sorta kinda maybe died. I think the power has come loose inside the housing, but we have to take it in to get it serviced. This means the earliest we could do that would be a Saturday, since the TV is nearly 200# according to the specifications and it's really hard to move it up and down from the third floor. There is a Sony authorized service center right in Hamburg, so that shouldn't be too bad. I'm just hoping it isn't too expensive to fix.
Food:
The other good thing about the weekend was that Keith and I went grocery shopping together. And ate at Red Robin together. We got lots of groceries and I am no longer buying lunch at work. :-p Or breakfast. Breakfast has been a bowl of cereal (yesterday it was Cinnamon Crispex, today it was Apple Jacks) and lunch has been turkey sandwiches and granola bars (today it's two turkey sandwiches, since yesterday I supplemented with a jumbo soft pretzel and a bag of baked lays). I've also got 24 oz bottles of water which I refill several times throughout the day. I had 4 of them yesterday, and I'm already finishing my first one today.
I am noticing that I will run out of turkey pretty quickly. Probably by tomorrow. I'll have to stop at Meijer to get more. Possibly more bread, too, but I have a couple more days worth of bread than I do of turkey. I might wait to get bread until Thursday, simply because I can. I'll probably get some soup then, too, since I don't think there will be any pasta bake left when I get home, and I only have three cans of soup in the cupboard.
Hmm. I could make some of the chicken helper that we bought.... Or I could do some of the mac-n-cheese we bought with chicken... We've got like 5 bags of frozen chicken in our freezer after all.... ~_~
