Weekends, Celebrations and Such Nonsense:
Saturday was [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi's birtday "party" at his sister's house. Not really a party. More like visiting and dinner (at Red Lobster!) and cake. And playing Super Smash Brothers Melee with his nephew. I went with, since it was Red Lobster, and probably should have stayed in bed. :-p You know, my wacky weekend schedule at work and all that.

Anyway, dinner was grand. We had a newbie waitress who was terrified of our large table. Seven people, two of whom were children. She did a good job, despite a little slowness on beverage refills.

Went back to the house, chatted, ate cake, then we went home where I promptly passed out for two and a half hours before getting up and going to work. [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi was afraid I wouldn't be able to drive. :-p I was fine about 5 minutes after getting to work. I was fine on the drive, but I didn't really snap awake until then. Work was exceedingly dull, as if this is a surprise. Went home, stayed awake.

Played some Hunter. Beat the game. Dont' remember when I did that, but I think it was before the weekend. Played some Civilization 3, continuing a game I had started at work. Went to Meijer with [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi Got eggs, since we were out. Got milk. Got orange juice. Got bread. Got soda. Got Lean Pockets. Used lots of coupons.

Went home. Unloaded the loot. Ate tuna fish sandwiches. [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi asked me to not give the leftover tuna to the cats because he doesn't want them getting used to human food. Having grown up with cats that got fish all the time when we had it, I found this slightly amusing. When he was done with his leftovers from Red Lobster he gave the leftover Salmon to the kitties. They were happy.

We opted to rent a movie. We opted to rent a movie to watch together. He ended up getting Bulletproof Monk which I sorta wanted to see. I wound up getting Chicago which he sorta wanted to see. I watched mine in the living room and he watched his in his bedroom. :-p We also rented a game. Big Mutha Truckers. White trash gone totally wrong.

We want to buy it now.

Resolutions:
[livejournal.com profile] shadesong is giving up LiveJournal for a week. (Vacation for her. Trust me, with her post volume, comment volume, and friend list size she deserves one). I'm giving up ICQ at work. I may try to avoid LJ from work, but I doubt that'll happen. :-p

Morning Badness:
I woke up to a fresh home-cooked breakfast this morning. This would be good, but if I weren't a lazy fuck and able to get up the first time my alarm goes off I wouldn't have woken up [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi in the first place. :-( But, anyrate, he made scrambled eggs and toast for me this morning while I was in the shower. =^_^= We ate breakfast together. Despite the awkward events bringing it about, it completely made my day!

To Do List:
Go to Meijer. Return bottles in back of car. Buy SOAP!!!! x_x

Go to Best Buy. Return the battery that is the wrong size for my camera.

Go home. Clean? I can dream, can't I?

*grumble*

I shoulda said "no weekends" on my availability. I really should have.

*grumble*

And I'm on pager this week.

*grumble*

Well, I still have two days in a row off. Friday and Saturday. And I'm out of work at 6pm on Sundays. This will, technically, still be functionable. God help them if they expect me to be perky and/or coherent on Mondays, though.
