Wednesday Morning Update (alternately, where the hell have you been?)

Where the Hell Have You Been?:
I guess I haven't really posted in a while, have I? ^_^ Somehow, I managed to miss about 2.5 pages worth of posts (125 posts total) between yesterday and today. Just got caught up.

Well, let's see, where to start.

Oh, wait, nevermind, there really isn't much of a reason. :-p So, let's just play catch-up, shall we?

Sore Thumbs:
I've been playing SSX3. Lots of SSX3. Enough SSX3 that the skin is peeling off of my left thumb. I forced myself to take two days off of the Superpipes and Big Air events because my hand just can't handle it right now. :-p So, instead, I've been busy beating the living snot out of race courses. =^_^=

Oh, by the way, MerquryCity.Com is my friend! Thanks to that, Psymon has become my personal punching bag and has gotten the snot beat out of him lots in order to earn me gold medals. =^_^=

I have been pushing towards completing all the races with golds, in order to get cool stuff, and trying to complete the mountain. When it comes time to do the exploration stuff, I will be seriously screwed. I'll just be combing every inch of every track looking for snowflakes and doing Big Challenges until my eyes bleed. It's going to be horrible.

I have a few Platinum medals!! I got platinums in all of the Superpipes (and Peak 2's superpipe is why I can no longer feel anything in my left thumb) and wound up getting platinum in the Metro City Meltdown race event. Thank god for warp-shortcuts. I have what I considered to be some pretty insane race times, until I looked at the scores that people like FBX get... ~_~ Bastage...

In between bouts of thumb abuse, I've been replaying Final Fantasy X in anticipation of the release of Final Fantasy X-2. It's weird and it's making me want to replay the others, because there are parts of the story, and some FMVs, that I totally forgot about! I went in the game with my save near the end and bought all the video spheres and was so shocked!! It'll be nice to go through it all again and see the story through with X-2. :-p

I haven't been playing Final Fantasy XI much lately. I want to, but I have no time to devote to it. I'll get back to it eventually, I'm sure.

I have, however, been playing Civilization III Conquests. Have a huge map game going with max number of opponents. The problem is that the difficulty is set to Chieftain (yeah, I suck) and it's a Pangea map and I'm expanding like mad. I mean, I'm going to wind up with three or four times as many cities as my closest opponent. I don't think I'll be switching to Democracy, oh, ever. :-p I sorta desperately need the unit support and all that. :-p

But, yeah. My free time is for SSX 3 and Final Fantasy X lately. :-p I haven't even watched the movies we're borrowing from lilacmoon5 yet. :-p

!Social Life:
I realize I've been about as social as a rock lately, but, eh, not feeling like much of a people person. :-p Just want to stay home with my cats and my playstation. =^_^= That and I'm starting to get that feeling that I have no free time again, and it drives me insane. So, what free time I do have, I want to spend at home. :-p Of course, y'all could come visit me for a change...

Ohhh, that reminds me. This weekend is still 40% off weekend, folks! And I am available all sorts of Friday for it, since I don't have work until 8 am on Saturday!
