Wednesday Stuff
Tonight,
dianak will be coming over for dinner and budgeting and maybe movie-watching. We have lots of movies. I'm sure we can find something to watch. I'm thinking Kill Bill, myself. But, then, I've wanted to watch it for two days, but
satyr_mi hasn't wanted to. :-p Dinner will probably be a chicken dealie. I think we have Chicken Helper, actually. So I could make that.
The other thing happening tonight is the series finale of Angel. Am very very saddened by this. I may have to take up watching Enterprise next year, but they seem to be moving that to Fridays (according to Variety). I'm still hoping for something Joss related, but he's busy working on Serenity, so I'm thinking it'd be at least a year before we see anything. And still no Faith spinoff, since Tru Calling somehow managed to avoid cancellation according to various sources. Yeah, Tru Calling gets to come back, but Wonderfalls gets cut down before it even had a fucking stable time-slot. Fox is full of MORONS. But, then, Buffyverse fans already knew this.
I get to do some testing for our POS group today. Get to see if I can break registers for them. Should be fun. Couple hours away from the phones, at least.
Random fact. I just found out that DaimlerChrysler offers discounts to Borders employees. o_O Randomness.
Woke up with my right eye feeling like there was a needle being poked into the back of it. Much nose-blowing and sudafed taking later and it is no longer grumpy.
Played a little bit of City of Heroes last night. Did half a mission. Defeat 15 Outcasts. It turned into a door mission, which I'll do tonight probably. I was just too tired last night. Fell asleep and slept from 9:30 to 4 am without interruption, and then was woken up by a cat. Ignored the cat, and slept until 7ish. Made it to work early today, too.
Oh! Yesterday when I got into work (I was just barely considered not late yesterday) I saw someone sitting in the East Lobby who looked to be a new hire and looked to be someone I know here on LJ! ^_^ And I was right! ^_^ Congratulations,
roane! I woulda said "Hi", but the "I'M LATE I'M LATE" mindset was on overdrive. :-p
Okay. Enough babbling for one morning. Time to actually be productive.
