Blah Blah Work Work

Administration:
Happy birthday (sorta belated) to carebear_flare! Hope you're having a fun camping trip! ;-)

Health Matters:
A day and a half of general rest plus a lot of water means I'm doing pretty good. Still stuffed up as all hell. No sore throat. Sometimes I have a cough, but not often. Right now my symptoms are being controlled by fluids and Claritin. I was drinking so much water earlier that I had to piss every 40 minutes. :-p Then I'd drink another glass of water just to be safe. :-p I've already had a 24 oz bottle of water since getting to work (less than an hour) and am working on a 24 oz bottle of diet mt dew. Yeah, it's not water, but it's fluids.

My nose will be quite happy when this is over. Then the skin can all grow back. :-p

Gaming Goodness:
Oddly enough, I don't mean tabletop gaming this time. :-p I've become re-addicted to Final Fantasy X thanks to carebear_flare. :-p I've got a brand new save game going on a new memory card. Well, okay, not a new memory card, but a memory card that was never used for FFX before.

I'm about 21 hours into the game, I just hit the Calm Lands, got me a Chocobo, got me a Cloudy Mirror, fought all the Aeons I currently have available (ohhh, actually I have one left now that I think about it), and am ready to go capture some fiends and activate my Mirror. I've got every Al Bhed Primer that I can have up to this point, including ones that I missed on my previous play through of the game. I'm thinking that I might try to get all of my Celestial Weapons worked out in this play-through, but I am so not looking forward to that. I hate Blitzball, I hate Chocobo Racing, and I hate Butterfly Catching. And dodging lightning ain't any fun either.

Lonely Nights:
This weekend is going to be sooooo long and sooooo boring. satyr_mi is off in St Louis this weekend and won't be back until Monday night. This means I have the apartment to myself. Well, myself and two cats, who have decided to shun me due to the constant blowing of my nose. Silly cats. Although, William did lay on the pile of quilt that I made on the floor of the living room while I played FFX all day. :-p He quite happily snoozed there. He even let me pet him a few times. :-p

One good thing, though, is that satyr_mi got me the new Margaret Cho DVD, "Revolution", before leaving town. So I have that to keep me entertained.

Work Stuff:
I'm at work now. Second job. So far it's shaping up to be a quiet night. This is good. I don't want to have to think too hard. :-p Fortunately, I should be well enough by tomorrow that doing both jobs won't be an issue. This is good since I really can't have any more personal days at Borders right now. :-p I'm already on a PIN for attendance, and this takes me back up to three occurances until the end of September. Then I'll be down to one and it'll all be good.

Well, I probably have a lot more I could write about, but I really can't think of anything. :-p So, I'm going to post this and check out my subscriptions page to see what I've missed while I've been stuck in Spira.
