Post-Birthday Postings
So I got home to some new Birthday presents last night! A couple birthday cards, a birthday cake being baked, a wireless keyboard/mouse combo for the laptop, and a new copy of Nero for my PC. The old version we had wouldn't work under XP for some reason. :-p Or, at least, it wouldn't recognize that I actually had a CD Burner installed. :-p

satyr_mi playing on the COH test server on the laptop with the new keyboard, and me playing Final Fantasy X until midnight. :-p I finally managed to get three slot [Triple AP] weapons for everyone. Plugged an [Overdrive -> AP] in each of them. Then I started abusing Don Tonberry. Three battles later, and Yuna's Mindy has more than 17,000HP. Anima has more than 15,000HP.
I then opted to finish off the Omega Ruins events and go take on a giant whale of doom. I actually now have to re-do all of that. Why, you ask? Simple. I managed to not Overkill Omega and Yuna didn't do anything in that fight because Rikku accidentally mugged the thing to death. :-p And Ultima only gave me 78 Pendulums when I bribed him. So, I still have my save from there, and it only took an hour total to do everything, so I'll just re-do it.
I'll probably throw together a [Master Thief] armor set for my thieves before beating on the whale. It's got good rare steals. Not that I can't get all those items by abusing Passado in the Monster Arena, but, hey, I don't have to pay for these upcoming fights. :-p
The one downside to abusing Don Tonberry is that it now takes forever for my Overdrive guages to fill. :-p The upside is that Yuna now has the second highest hit point total in the party. :-p And, other than Magic Defense, I haven't even started stat maxing yet. Of course, the 120 some odd Magic Defense Spheres I got from One Eye could be the reason for that. :-p Yeah, I sold most of them. :-p Yeah, you may think they're useful for Mixes, but Rikku never fights anyway. I'll probably go ahead and try getting all her mixes done at some point, but, really, kinda pointless.
Since Kimhari has been going through Lulu's grid, Nova was fun. Something like 25,000 damage against a whale arm. ^_^
So. Current goal. Armor with [Auto Protect] [Auto Haste] [Auto Med] and one of [Auto Phoenix] [Master Thief] or [Pickpocket] for all. I could throw [Auto Shell] in there, I guess, but that might be overkill. :-p I may even switch out [Auto Med] for something, but there really aren't that many other abilities that would be worth getting.
I may or may not play more tonight. I'll probably play Star Ocean instead. It's been a couple days since I played that. :-p
