An Overdue Daily Update

Administration:

Since I haven't posted this in a while, I do have some rarely used post filters that are opt-in. You don't have to be local to join the local one, and the TMI one is fairly tame (although may include bodily function issues in graphic detail), and the adult one, well, requires you to be an adult. Amongst other things. Go ahead and sign up for them if you'd like!

Reading:
I've been having a hell of a time keeping up with things lately. Stressing out coupled with playing lots and lots of video games to distract myself means not a lot of home-based reading time. I have been a bit more commenty the past few weeks than normal, though.

City of Heroes:
Kung Ru is 28. Kung Ru has Instant Healing. It really is like playing with God Mode, if you could die in three seconds flat in God Mode. :-p I've not yet really had a close call since getting it, but I have no endurance to speak of with it running. At this point I want to do the Respec trial so that I can do a complete rebuild and get things set up and slotted correctly for it. It may mean dropping a power or two for the time being, but it will be worth it in the long run.

I'm playing more on Virtue. If they ever get character copy implemented, I will probably move Kung Ru over there. It will be very sad to leave my fellow Wallers on Pinnacle, but satyr_mi plays primarily on Virtue, and I like playing with him. I do have another version of Kung Ru there who is currently 7th level. She looks pretty cool and I might copy her costume for my normal one when she hits 30. I've also got a new blaster to be a sort of complementary character to Keith's. His name is Hydrogen Spark. He's a Fire/Fire Blaster and is just now Level 7 as well.

I made a fire/radiation controller on Pinnacle named The Emerald Inferno. He looks cool. I like his costume. A real super-hero style costume. He's also a Science Origin instead of Natural. :-p I have a gazillion natural origin heroes. Tired of them. :-p

The Sims 2:
I have two Pleasantview's in action right now. I have one on my PC and one on my laptop. I just created the Roswell family on my PC. A married couple of Knowledge Sims. They have the expensive telescope. If he gets abducted, I'll have them Try For Baby so she has a baby at the same time. ;-) I'm wacky like that. ;-)

I haven't really played the Goth's much in either version. I really should, because I want Alexander to grow up. I need to make some more families so that my Sim Kids can have life-long friends. I might even download something to move Townies into a house to age them there as well.

Stress:
My stress level after my three days of vacation that I didn't post about has gone back up. :-p Quite annoying. Hence me playing lots of video games. Escapism is a wonderful thing.

Work is being a bit busy, so I'm going to get off of here now.
