Keith and I watched the season finale of HGTV's Design Star last night. Unsurprisingly, David (aka, the gay guy who hates wearing a shirt) won the competition. I'm sorta holding out hope they still give Alice some sort of show of her own, because she's really good as well.
The finale was a lot like the first episode. Started out sorta boring and uninteresting, but was good at the end. They had to do an hour of just chatting, basically, before announcing the winner at the end. And there was the entire "Price is Right" moment when the two finalists were given keys to brand new cars. That was sorta cheesy.
After we finished watching that we watched an episode of Designed to Sell which was very jarring because it was the Chicago cast (with their normal host on site and talking to the family), but Clive (who also hosted Design Star) was doing the "hosting" of the show. It was just flat out bizzare!
After TV time was done, I went on WoW and finished up the Fishing quest to be able to go to 300 Fishing. All that's left for Letalli is to max that out and get to 60. Still on track to have that done by the end of my vacation next week, provided I resist the urge to play other games. :-p Tonight is (hopefully) a pseudo-stealth/quick run through Blackrock Depths to get attuned for MC. One of our ally-type-guilds has some standing MC runs that are low on Druids, so I may join them on Monday evenings. I have no Fire Resist gear AT ALL, though, so that may just be a lesson in high repair bills. :-p
Well, lunch time is almost over and I must get back to work!
