I really couldn't think of a title for this entry. It's a mish-mash entry. Y'all will live. ;)
So, yesterday was apparently the second week of September. Seriously! This whole linear flow of time thing is obviously not working. Why do I say this, you ask? Simple.
Yesterday, my sinuses turned into Niagra Falls.
I woke up yesterday morning thinking to myself, "Self, your eyes are really watery, and you're quite congested... how can this possibly be?" I then spent the remainder of the day making my nose turn red and remembering that, yes indeed, post-nasal-drip causes sore throats. Thankfully, last night was
satyr_mi to the rescue because he had Meijer brand Sudafed, which helped. Took some this morning which has helped, too. Going to take some more in an hour or so to carry me through the rest of my work day.
So, you ask, how does this translate into yesterday being the second week of September? Simple! The second week of September is the week this normally happens. It's been like that for at least six years. This year, it didn't happen until yesterday, therefore yesterday was the second week of September.
Yeah. That word. Moving on!
We watched a bit of HGTV last night. We watched
Divine Design and
Get Color and
satyr_mi watched
Desperate Housewives while I post-nasal-dripped my way into a Sudafed-deprived funk. Then he provided the Sudafed, which I gleefully ingested, and let me play
Final Fantasy XII until I went to bed.
Speaking of FFXII, finally offed that Nidhogg last night. It helps when everyone has Quickenings and you hit him with a chain of 5 after knocking him below half health. After that, I went to the little bridge area that is crawling with undead and killed them up to a nice big chain. Probably going to go back again tonight and chain some more in there to get more LP and Loot. If I'm really bored, I may stay there until I get enough money to get my first Grimoire off the Bazaar, but I doubt it. I'm pretty much ready to continue the storyline. Not sure if I'm ready to do the two Elite hunts that are available. I've picked them up, but I haven't chatted with the Petitioners yet. Prolly going to wait until the party fills up first.
Well, lunch time is almost over, so I'm going to wander off to get a beverage for the rest of the day and get back to work.
