Blah Tuesday
Blah:
Today is just... blah. In case there was any ambiguity in my title or whatnot. So, work has been ok. Not super busy like yesterday. I even went through all my old cases and cleared some out, updated the rest. Now I could (read should) go through and hunt and peck through some other tech's cases, but... who knows. Maybe. Of course, I fear running into a WallO'Bad.
See, there's a danger in working front-line tech support. The job doesn't require much in the way of technical skills, people skills, or basic common sense. Such things are VERY helpful and make the job much easier, but they are not required. Such is evidenced by some co-workers. Hence, every now and then when perusing old cases, you run into a WallO'Bad.
The last WallO'Bad I ran into gave me a headache. Seriously. I sometimes find it physically painful to look at other people's "work". I'm sure some of mine sucks elephant testicles now and then, but, you know, at least I make an effort. Perhaps the only amsuing thing about a WallO'Bad is that I can walk up to a couple of my co-workers, say a single name, and cause them to shudder in fear.
Cleaning:
satyr_mi and I need to clean our apartment. We have company coming over to game and the place... well... Let's just say it looks worse than it has in a VERY long time. I'm not sure what happened. Well, ok. Some of it I know. Like, you know,
satyr_mi pulling out a few DVD boxed sets and not putting them away. :-p Christmas loot piling up on the dining room table. My strong desire to not do my laundry for some reason. Still, it needs to be done.
Two completely procrastinating Virgos. Who'da thunkit.
Neverwinter Nights:
... still ate my brain.
