I know better. Really, I do. I mean, hello, I'm 23 years old, I've done this how many times, and yet still I wind up falling for people online. Well, not really falling for them, but becoming very interested in them and then becoming very disappointed and bummed out when nothing comes of it at all. Of course, there were the two relationships I managed to get out of it, but then both of those people have.. issues to deal with.

I sit in the Gay.com chat rooms chatting with people, saying hi, sometimes flirting, but, to be perfectly honest, all of these people appear to be total freaks. There are a few people who seem to have their heads in reality, but come on. Of course, yeah, what does this say about me. Shut up, this is my rant I can be as contradictory as I want. But, anyway, the majority of the people who talk to you are either a) desperate for sex b) totally unable to have a normal healthy relationship c) really really really really really scary and fucked up or d) all of the above. I'm sorry, but if your first line of a PM to me is "Wanna fuck?" or "What are your stats?" then a) you can go to hell b) you can learn to read my fucking profile first and c) NONE FOR YOU!

Is it so weird to want a guy you can chat with, have things in common with, find funy and interesting, and THEN think about hooking up/meeting/whatever AFTER you are friends? Yes, there are some people there that I'd love to just rip their clothing off and go to town, but jesus at least PRETEND to have a brain before hand.

Obviously, this is not everyone. It isn't even the majority, and I know that. But it's FAR TOO MANY. Do these people have friends? Social lives? Do they sit at home all day stroking the one-eyed snake or what?

There is a depressingly small number of guys I've chatted with online who I want to really meet. I don't even want to meet them for sex!! Yeah, the thought has crossed my mind for some of them, but I actually have met about 3 really cool guys that I've chatted with a bit. livininoz being one. Hey, it's hard to find people interested in gaming, what can I say.

Although, there is the entire random fact that there is a very large amount of queer gamers out there.... Oh well, minor lil detail.
