Quickie Update

Did my taxes. I had done federal a couple months back, but it depressed me, so I didn't do state. Just did state. No longer depressed. $902 refund from the state puts me $902 closer to being out of debt. Okay, I have to pay like $28 to the feds, but still.

I have $10 per week kept out extra for state taxes from booth. So that's an extra $520 or so dollars. I have an extra $10 per week kept out extra for state taxes from borders. So that's an extra $260 or so dollars. That's $780 extra above what is automatically taken out. Michigan income tax is a flat rate for everyone (4 percent).

So, yeah. Did the math a few times. My total tax was around $1700. Borders kept out $1400 total, Booth kept out $1200 or something.

The scary thing for me is the fact that my federal tax bracket skyrockets when you add both jobs together. That's why I had to pay on federal.

Hmmm, I shall have to remember to do that when I get my next job. That's a nice refund and I certainly wouldn't miss $10 out of my paycheck. :)

Still around 3k. :-p I missed a payment, and I have hy00ge fees every month. This will knock a third off of it.

Yay for knocking it down to size! Maybe it will make things more manageable to have it down so much!
