So, City of Heroes just put out a fairly meaty patch. Not "meaty" as in content, but "meaty" as in "prone to cause whiners to go into a fevered pitch of hysteria".

Listen retards, if you are incapable of reading then you are not worth my time or the time of everyone else.

No, they did NOT make Reds and Purples impossible. They made things that are 5 or more levels higher than you significantly harder. Remember, this isn't EverCrack or Dark Age of Smacksalot. Color does not equal level. You're level 15 taking a level 15 mission. You run into a red boss! OMG! WTF!!! Oh, wait, that means he's level 16... he's only 1 level higher than you... So.. he's just as hard today as he was yesterday...

OMG CALTROPS SUCKS NOW!!!

Please break out the bifocals, moron. "Updated the short help on Caltrops." They did not change Caltrops. At least, if they did, it was an error since the changes weren't officially tested yet.

Please do not breed.

edit to add: In all fairness to the Caltrops Tards out there, they did put in the change to all Slow powers in this patch (placing a minimum speed on slowed mobs so they can't be rooted by slows). It was a way late addition to the patch notes. There also appears to be a bug that only those people who were total freaks and actually put extra slots into Caltrops (such as me :-p) will encounter.

Ah, the joys of messageboards

I'm glad SOE *just last month* opened up the EQ messageboards...after 5 years. The SWG messageboards are responsible for 99% of the mess that the game is currently is (as in "OMG look at all the people complaining! Quick, modify the code so they'll shut up and WHO CARES if it wrecks the current code and makes the existing plan for the future meaningless!")

I don't read the official message boards. I read patch messages, and play the game. *sigh*

Yeah. I remember Whineplay. I was one of the masses who knee-jerk hated Tweety without ever reading anything she wrote.

Then I read what she wrote.

She made me want to be a guide. She loved that game even AFTER they banned her. That says A LOT!

So, I owe my 6 months of servitude on Tallon Zek to Tweety. :-p Who knew?

But, yeah. I am reading CoH message boards for the dev posts. They have a dev tracker to make it easy. And I use it for the 3 to 5 intelligent folk per Archetype who post really useful information.

I have thought about getting city of heroes just to hang out in cyberspace with you again, my wizard is leveling up nicely in EQ so If you ever feel like logging back in and going on an LDON with me, I think that would be great...

Miss you bro, hope things are going better sounds like they are.
