Hehehe. Yeah, the entire "the cake sits out during the entire meal" bit would sorta kill that one.

My aunt used to get us ice cream cakes from Dairy Queen every year for our birthdays. Definite treat!

I used to get the small chocolate cakes from Bill Knapps for my birthday. Sadly, the chain died a few years back. Their cakes are still availabe in stores, but the added preservatives and such make it taste horrible, so I need to find a new birthday treat.

You might like the Carvel. They sell them at Hiller's apparently. Not sure on the preservative status of them, though. :-p
