Well, I'm not horrendously addicted. I'm not dreaming it. I have and do dream CoH on occaision.

But, well, I have been playing it pretty much daily since picking it up. Part of this is because I don't expect to keep my account past the free month (due to being BROKE) but it is entertaining.

I've got Vesla, my half elven Sorcerer. She just hit 11 last night. Have not yet gotten to play with her new spell as it pretty much requires a group. It's a melee buff spell. She doesn't melee. :-p She's also my main tradeskiller, but that's been a bit aggravating. Trying to raise her gathering skills to higher than 40 before hitting 10th as a Sage.

I've got Letalli, my dark elven Crusader. She also just hit 11 and got a new attack power!! WHEEE! She also just scribed all her tier 1 Apprentice III skills. Vesla had made them and tried selling them, but nobody was buying them, so I shared-banked them on over.

I've got Ruann, my halfling Priest. I just remade her. She's also going to be a tradeskill type, but I'm trying to collect all of the rare crafting books from the Isle of Refuge before letting her out into the world. I'm already getting sick of Goblins. :-p

I've got Jarez, my human Scout/Mule. His purpose is to collect those same rare crafting books for Vesla, but I may give up on that front. :-p I dunno if I could honestly let myself waste that much time for two sets of books. I could just wait for Letalli to be rich and buy them off of others, since she seems to be my primary adventurer. :-p

Tonight I'm probably going to have Letalli wander all around Freeport picking up as many Quests as she can. Then doing the easy ones, getting them cleared out of the way, and moving on to the Access Quests. She's got a couple she's working on already. It's just a matter of actually doing them. I really really enjoy Crusaders. They're sooo buff. Even as a wimply ol Dark Elf.

Actually, the only one of my characters to have a real in-character story is Letalli. She's the same Letalli I played in EverQuest. She's really really old (considering the life span of Elves and the time frame of this game compared to EQ1), but Elves don't really age much. They just look pretty, then croak. :-p So, yeah, she's old. And she's mostly amnesiac, due to some odd mystical traumas. She's also bitter, but then, she was always bitter. It's just that where her bitterness in EQ1 was a general low-level bitterness at her existence and the fallacies of the other races, her bitterness now is very focused and very disturbing. She's going to be fun.

Well, lunch is almost over for me. Time to do some reading and then get back to work.
