jdotmiWell, I went to visit my friend Nolan yesterday after work instead of going home and playing video games and watching tv all day. He finally FINALLY bought a new computer!!! On the phone last night at least. He should be getting it hopefully by the first or second week of July. Got his cell phone number (yay) and went shopping some. Looked for Neverwinter Nights, but it was sold out like EVERYWHERE. :-p Annoying.
Got home, played some Tricky. Got over 400,000 points on the Garibaldi showoff with Brody. My record (with Elise) had been just over 200,000 points. And she has her Uberboard and a hell of a lot more stats than Brody does. Also beat Garibaldi race with Eddie. His showoff is next, and then I'll do Kaori's I think. I think I know why I did so well with Brody, actually. I used his freestyle board instead of his alpine. Elise defaults to BX boards. And, well, since I have her uberboard it's pointless to switch to anything else.
Also watched "Welcome to the Hellmouth" and "The Harvest" with audio commentary by Joss Whedon. Yes, I am a dork. I revel in my dorkyness. My dorkyness is much superior to yours. Interesting trivia tidbit: Joss wanted to have Eric Balfour in the opening credits of the first episode simply because they were going to kill Jesse. But finances being what they were they couldn't afford to do two opening sequences. He said it may have been a good thing, since 3 years later they did just that in Angel (Doyle) and people went ballistic. They didn't really learn their lesson then either, though, since they did it yet again in Season 6, but only for one episode, and the episode where they killed Tara at that.
After the micro-buffy-a-thon, I went to bed. That was about 11-ish or so. Didn't want to get up this morning. I never want to get up in the morning.
