Sunday was mostly a bust for us. We were just flat out too tired and worn out from all the heavy lifting of Friday and Saturday to get everything done we wanted.

Big furniture left:
child's desk
two bookcases
buffet
both dressers

Medium furniture left:
chair in living room
coffee table

Small furniture left:
two bookcases
end table
microwave cart
tv cart
dvd (video game) holder

Junk left:
broken TV in my old closet

Beyond that, it's all little stuff. And the medium and small furniture could all be done in an hour or two. The problem piece is the buffet, which is large and unwieldy. And the old TV which I'd love to just get rid of, but would hate to toss in the dumpster because it only needs a small repair to be in perfect working order.

On the other hand, there are portions of my body that are in pain that I didn't even think existed, so being at work today, and thus sitting down for good long stretches, will be a welcome respite. Depending on what [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi gets moved over today we may bring a big bookcase or the buffet over.

One way I was able to purge myself of a few borderline electronics was that before I moved them into the house I made myself either fix them and have a spot/use for them picked out, or I dumped them.

It hurt to get rid of a few PCs that way, but in the end it was better that I did as I would have never used them again anyway.

So make yourself fix the TV in order to move it in, or dump it and find out in two months that it didn't matter anyway -- that you dumped it I mean.
