Despite the hell that is my current financial situation, I do have to at least make note of the positive things in life.

We now have BBC America.

That is all.

So far, our TiVo is set to record a british comedy for [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi, Dr Who, and Torchwood. We'll see if anything sticks. It may even compete with HGTV for our most watched station. :-p

I never catch doctor who on sci fi, even though I used to watch that channel for like, 2 hours every night. I do catch it (rarely, I need to make more of a habit of it) on bbc america.. love it!

But I've been digging on Survivorman as of late. I don't know why. He's canadian, though, eh! The discovery channels are tending to be my most watched, in contention with csi on Spike and Law and order on USA.

Now, if only I were awake for most of that viewing... sigh.

Pardon my interruption. I am supposed to be in contact with [livejournal.com profile] mock_cat about the wedding this weekend, and I am teh ditz and the only contact info (aside from email) I have for that crowd is their landline in Washington!!

So, I was hoping that if you are more able to get ahold of the Cat, i.e. know where he is staying and have their number, if you would please be so kind as to let him know that I need a phone call, and that I have emailed him my phone number, I would so much appreciate it!

Sadly I don't have his contact info. I haven't talked to him since he moved away. Heck, not since game ended, really.

As much as I will NEVER understand people's (my fiancee's included) obsession with Heroes (blech).

Doctor Who and Torchwood are totally made of win.
Oh, and since you have BBCAmerica now, keep an eye out for Life On Mars, in case they run it at some random 4am timeslot or something.

Heroes is my friend!

And of course Torchwood is made of win. John Barrowman makes out with everything that moves, what could be bad about that?

The Graham Norton Show is a British chat show. He has various guests on and they talk and he does somewhat silly stuff to them and his audience.

And Heroes is teh awesome!

There are also some shows that they run during the late season, and summer releases. Hex (buffyish), Robin Hood, and Jekyll. I love the BBC my friends think I'm kinda nuts for loving British television.
