City of Addiction redux

If you don't play City of Heroes, this post will make no sense to you.

Now that the Mission Architect has gone live, I can honestly say it's way more fun when people actually play your arc. So far, I've had 5 ratings on a junk arc I loaded up (Mass Chaos, Arc 3998) and it has no plot. It's a fun set of fights, though, so that definitely helps out. 5 missions, 3 bosses each, small/medium maps. Longbow - Arachnos - Council - Paragon Police - Rikti.

I got enough tickets out of the first three missions in the original 5 boss version to unlock everything I needed for the first real arc that I'm working on, so I nerfed it down to 3 bosses. 5 was just a bit of overkill.

Break time's over, back to work!

Im really digging the Architect missions....Dave and I did a few yesterday and they were much more exciting than a regular mission. It makes it much more fun in CoH now......We will have to try some of yours out :)

Just out of curiosity did this only go live on the Hero side or is it for the whole game? It sounds like a very interesting game mechanic, although not enough to bring me back into the fold.

Whole game. There are Architect Entertainment buildings in all of the primary city zones and in the Rikti War Zone (co-op missions!). I've been building a Villainous arc based on my Supergroups.

They are fun fun things. :) So far I only have the one up. I'm going to see if I can finish my introductory villainous arc tonight and post it, though. It's a level 10 - 20 mission set so far (first is 10 - 19, second is 11 - 20).

I've hit the point where I'm starting to glance around at other games again, WoW's grip has lessened on me. So I'm starting to think about resubbing to either LoTRO, EVE or CoH. Not sure which way I'll go yet.
