Took "The Sims" over to my friend Nolan's place. He had bought Vacation, but not the others since I have 2 copies of all of them except Vacation and told him he could have my extra copies. Installed it, all of it... all 5 cds of it... And it ran nicely on his machine. Considering his old computer would last all of 5 minutes into the tutorial before locking up hard with it, this is a big improvement.

So, Nolan now has Sim goodness on his computer. Showed him where to put things he downloads (which I know he'll forget, but then I'm only an IM away so hey) and after chatting with him online briefly after I came home he said "I want to go play Sims now, bye!"

Ok so that isn't an exact quote, but it's a start.

What's sad, though, is now I need to find my Vacation CD since I misplaced and now I want to play. >_

~- the Sims has to be one of the worst 'games' (and i use that term loosely, if not downright inaccurately) that I've ever had the misfortune to encounter! -~

~- i'd probably like it a lot more if you could turn that god-awful music off, they spoke like real people (anything but that damn 'fnaghn fnaghn' junk), and weren't so damn insulting to people's astrological persuasions.. (since when are Leo's only allowed 3 dots in 'Nice'?) -~

Simmish, sadly, is stuck there.

The astrological signs are a joke. I'm a Virgo. No way in hell you could make me one in The Sims, though.

hahaha! I love it! Today one of my sims was nagging the other, and it was funny as hell, because I've never really heard that before. (My sims are in good relationships, unlike the people I know in real life.) He said, "gotta poocha chew, gotta poocha chew!!!!"

I love simmish.
