jdotmiI made a little challenge for myself. I challenged myself to remodel a couple of houses using only Maxis made items. I had done something similar before, but I do normally have a small selection of usermade objects that I always use. So, this time I have no usermade objects in my game.
The first house I re-did was the Newbies house. You can still see the original layout in the design, but I did create a living room and expand the size of the bedroom.

The second house I re-did was the larger family house that comes with the game. Not the mansion, but the other one. You'll recognize the layout immediately I think. I moved the Pleasant family in and redid all the interiors. I also added in a bedroom, although I didn't have to expand any rooms for that. The living room did get a small expansion to comfortably fit a TV and bookcase in the front corner of the home.
