Today has just conspired to be a day where I wish I had stayed home.
I have done work, so I don't feel too badly about being here. It's just that I don't have much to do. All things considered, I'd rather be busy right now.
I color coded my Friends list. Black Text on White Background = LJ Community. Fourth Wall members have an appropriately colored background. It's dark green I think. The people I consider my close friends have a dark red background with white text. Via Sanguinius folks (all two of you) have a black bacground with Red text. You remember, that horrible horrible color scheme I had on the forums? The one that made you want to claw your eyes out? Great fun. Sims Friends/Fans get a, er, sorta blueish/greenish background... The color I wanted to use was already taken by the LiveJournal Specific journals, such as
news. Bekkah and Eric get to suffer through our school colors until I can think of something less horrendous...
labile gets something that looks like it matches her Journal colors. The feed-journal of
wilwheaton gets a nice bright blue, much like his actual website. I can't think of any colors for Tony... x_x On one hand, I'm like "Well, Buffy fan... black and white works... oh... but... wait..." See, the problem with that is White Text on Black Background is for *drumroll* random people. See, I tend to, now and then, randomly add people to my Friends list simply because what they have written seems interesting. So I add them, stick them in this group named "Random" on my friends list breakdown, and have at it. So, that color scheme ain't gonna work.
Ok, enough of that. Added a few random people/communities to my list the last couple days. Going to see how the reading goes before deciding on keeping them.
I want to redesign my website. Again. Because, you know, I never finished it the last time. Or the time before that. Or the time before that! Or, well, ever actually... I keep having problems figuring out a color scheme for it, though. Oh well, I'll figure something out eventually.
I took a stab at modifying a style for my journal. Yegads I'm not doing that again. Well, correction. I'm not doing that anytime soon. It was horrendous or anything. It was fine. I basically took this style, changed some minor things around, and it worked nicely. I just, well, didn't like trying to figure out how to put everything together. Maybe if I had more free time I would sit down with it and figure out exactly how to organize the page better, but for now I will just live with it as is. I'll worry about it after I do my webpage... Quit snickering over there in the back row... I heard that... ~_~

Re: all the pretty colors
Or you could just post. I would be ok with that. ;-)
