Obligatory Angel Postage

jdotmiOf course I watched Angel last night. What else would I have to do on a Wednesday night after being a crack whore and cleaning my bedroom?
Wesley's little hallucinations about his conversation with Lilah before decapitating her was disturbing. It was great, but disturbing. It was very much Lilah, and very much Wesley all at the same time.
Connor needed a bitchslapping. Fortunately, it was forthcoming.
Faith proved a lot about her character before her first real fight of the episode. The ease with which she busted out of the prison makes it very obvious she was there because she wanted to be there. Which, well, we all knew from the end of the Season 1 episode Sanctuary.

Cordelia's reaction to Faith was great. Almost old-school Cordelia (like, a gazillion years) but not quite.
Take-charge/make a plan Faith was... uh... Ok maybe I've just been watching Season 3b too much lately and remembering her behavior in Season 4b/Season 1a, but she is NOT forethought girl. She is "rush in, bust shit up, get out" girl. Maybe jail has mellowed her some. Yes, she doesn't want to kill Angel. Hence the Wes getting her to break out of prison. Still, dramatic shift in character.
Loved it when she mopped the floor with Connor.
Thoroughly grossed out when Cordelia told The Beast to "Give momma some sugar". eww. eww. eww.
More grossed out when Cordelia started mackin with Connor after telling him she was pregnant. eww. eww. eww.

Since spoilers indicate that this isn't really Cordelia then I am very interested in finding out what her baby has to do with the finale. I'm wondering what will happen when Angel comes into contact with the true Cordelia and how or if he will let anyone else know that PsychoCordy is not RealCordy. Hmmmness.
