Thursday Morning Update

Angel:
Great episode last night. Much fun in the watching. Loved Angel's line of "I did..." said with that boyish "ohmygosh" voice he gets now and then. ;-)

On Not Inhaling Carrots:
Nearly inhaled a portion of carrot that I was eating on my drive into work. Much coughing and eye watering ensued. Very not cool. Throat is still trying to have convulsions due to this event.

Caffination:
I got enough sleep last night, yet I'm craving an IV drip of Mountain Dew right now. So tired. I have me a diet pepsi to drink, but it just ain't the same!

Gaming Stuff:
Made another werewolf yesterday at work. Black Fury. Sorta boring, oddly enough. I totally did not match her backgrounds with her stats well. Lots of Contacts with a Tertiary Social set. Dur!

Lisa is almost done with Lure of the Flames. Need to decide on her next course of advancement. I could continue adding Thaumaturgy paths or I could start increasing her other disciplines. Some Obfuscate could come in handy. Especially the level 6 power Soul Mask. I'd need to buy 4 dots to get to it... That's around 98 experience points or something. That's 13 game sessions. x_x Now, mind you, if I did 6 sessions a month that'd be just over two months, but damn that's a long wait.

Miranda is saving up to buy a Merit. Dual Tradition. She's a Verbena currently and will be dualing up in Virtual Adept. Wacky combo, yeah, but it fits the character. She's been raised in a family of Witches and has learned from them her entire life. She's also one of the few family members to wholheartedly embrace modern technology, much to the chagrin of her family and much to the amusement of "Old Aunt Lisa".

There is a lot of character swapping/dropping/making going on in the game right now. It isn't too much of an issue, as some characters show up when others do, but some things are fairly bizzare to think about. For example, Lisa and Miranda are pretty much letting Mylissa be taken care of by Trevor. It doesn't make much sense in-character for Lisa to do this. If there were a Territorial(My Family) flaw, she'd have it. You do not touch her family or she will touch you in ways that do not dare be mentioned.

I have three actual characters in game. I had a fourth make a non-physical Cameo (and that's all he'll do, in all honesty). I'm not really wanting to bring more characters in as there are so many people in game as it is and I really don't need to be getting in on any more scenes than I already do. :-p I might bring in a Garou. It will really depend on what templar_rose thinks for the chronicle. The Garou pack that is forming appears to be quite a set on it's own, so that may not be necessary.

Part of why I don't want more characters is simply because I tend to wind up being a Leader in the groups. Now, I don't mind this, per se, but it puts a lot on me to keep track of what is going on. Plus, I mean, I have a lot going on already and I have some fairly powerful characters as it is. Yes, I'm not quite Cardinal John or Alexander, but Lisa is getting up there and Miranda will, very quickly, become a force to be reckoned with.

Playstation2:
Have not gotten to play Dragon Quarter the last couple days. This is very sad. Must get back to it tonight. I'll go home, maybe clean something, and play some Dragon Quarter. All will be well in the world.

Or I could play Final Fantasy or Final Fantasy II...
