Caffination Levels Critically Low

Normally I'm quite good at dealing with being tired at work.

Today is just totally fucked in the head, though.

Apparently, I'm not dealing as well with my lack of sleep as I thought. For example, I wrote "Riverdrive Apartments" on my rent check this morning. I haven't lived there in over a year now. I then proceeded to get somewhat snippy about it, but managed to introduce Keith to the joys of balance transfers so he could pay the full amount of the rent. That was amusing.

This morning was tolerable because I dove into work. I literally went through every one of my open cases and worked on it. Got a few closed out. Then I dove into my assigned batch of cases and played with them, pretty much saying "sorry, this can't be finished yet" and then got on with my life. Lunch snuck up on me, but that's ok. It just means the rest of today can fly by as well and I will be perfectly happy.

Today I'm starting (I hope) on the cutting back of my food intake. I have been seriously eating far too much. I still had a big breakfast, but lunch was miniscule, and dinner will be soup. I would visit with people and hang out, but I'm too tired and really need to get sleep and relaxation time done. Yeah, visiting is relaxing, but it's not the kind of relaxing I need right now.

The presence of the Buffy RPG books was a hit at the non-game last night, which was pretty cool. I may or may not opt to run something out of it. Not sure yet. I may do a post-series finale set game. That would probably make the most sense, and allow for the most flexibility. I could then theoretically do whatever I want. I'm a little leary of running an Original Cast game. I could, but I don't particularly want to. I'd rather have the Original Cast be someone whom I could bring in randomly for whatever reason.

Saturday gaming. Man, my weekends are going to be fucked now. ^_^ It's ok, I can live with that. Not sure on the Atlantic City game that Cat may be running yet. Considering it, but I need to come up with a good character concept for it. Maybe a remake of Camden. Of course, AC is only going to be once or twice a month at most, so that's a lot more tolerable.

Ok. Time to read stuff. Or do work. Cuz that could happen too...

*jealousy sets in* I have the game, lots of gamer friends who love Buffy, and still cannot play the game! I'm running another campaign,. so starting a BTVS game is not an option right now.

I've never been a fan of Original Cast campaigns. In my experience, they invariably become 2-dimensional representations of the characters I love, even with the best of players. But, maybe I've just played with the wrong fans!

It would honestly take true fanatics to pull it off with this game. If you don't know the characters inside and out it will just be bad.

You could start a BTVS game anyway! ;-) I'm playing in possibly 3 games right now (if my roomate ever starts up his Werewolf game) and still would be willing to run Buffy once a month. ;-)

Well, I'm playing in two now, and adding a 3rd, not inclusing the one I run. Each runs once per month. Adding a new one to run would just bee way too much for me!

That's understandable.

My main one runs every Sunday (albeit, the last two didn't happen). The second one could be 1 or 2 saturdays a month. The third one would probably be 1 saturday a month. If I do mine, the second one would drop to 1 saturday a month so mine could run 1 saturday a month. x_x
