Now that that's over...

Weekend!
Thank god it's Friday. No, seriously. I can do laundry on Saturday. I can help satyr_mi with his insane project. I can play with my kittens. I can sleep!!! Concept!

Sleep
Speaking of... I went to bed way early last night. Locked the kitties out of my room. Needed the sleep too badly. Got the sleep. Am very happy now.

Oops
Forgot to send those gaming documents I was working on home. :-p Guess I'll fiddle with them today and email them to myself later. :-p

Another oops is the not paying my cable bill on time. It's paid now, but we had a slight hiccup in the cable modemy goodness.

Partay!
June 14th (second Saturday) is the second Buffy Party at my place! Starting PROMPTLY at 3pm! Not 6pm, not 4pm, 3pm! Season 4 will have just come out on DVD, so we will either have a Willowy Goodness fest (Willow in Leather, Willow in more Leather, Willow becomes a dyke) or a Faith Goodness fest (Faith comes to town, Faith kills everything that blinks, Faith goes into a coma, Faith comes out of a coma, Faith moves to L.A. [Yes, I would make us watch the episodes of Angel where she is in L.A.]). I personally am leaning more towards Willowy goodness because we can watch some of the best episodes of the two seasons. Large amounts of giggling and crying involved. It'd be great. Plus we will be watching Hush. No if's and's or but's about it. You don't like it, you can tell it to The Gentlemen.

If you DO do the Willow fun, you might want to drag out Tabula Rasa from last year, if only for the "I think I'm kinda gay" callback.

Hmmm - trying to think of the best eps. "The Wish," "Dopplegangland," "Hush," "Wild at Heart," and possibly "Restless" are givens. Maybe even "The Yoko Factor." What else were you considering?

If I had ever actually seen Tabula Rasa or had it on tape, I'd consider it. But I don't have it yet. Basically, party 1 was seasons 1 and 2 and party 2 is going to be seasons 3 and 4.

Right now, I'm looking at (depending on how things play out) Faith Hope & Trick, Homecoming (if only for the "fluke"), Band Candy (funniest. episode. ever), The Wish, The Zeppo, Bad Girls, Consequences, Dopplegangland, Earshot (if only for the final shot of the episode), The Freshmen (best. little bad. ever.), Wild at Heart (aka: tear my heart out and stomp on it a few billion times), Something Blue (perfect counterpoint), Hush (best. episode. ever.), A New Man (willow/tara/rose spelly goodness), Goodbye Iowa (willow/tara/spell-saboutagy oddness), This Years Girl/Who Are You (helloooooo Faith!), Superstar, and New Moon Rising. Maybe, MAYBE Primeval and Restless, but, eh, not necessarily for the crowd that will be in attendance. Them not all being rabid Buffy freaks sorta precludes some of it.

Favorite episodes: Hush, Once More With Feeling (I'm a music major, it's sorta required at that point), Bewitched Bothered & Bewildered, Wild at Heart (I admit it. I bawled.), The Wish/Dopplegangland (I may be gay, but I can certainly appreciate Willow in Leather. It gives me all sorts of evil character ideas.), and The Body (heart wrenching, but damn it was GOOD).

There really isn't an episode I don't like, and I really have favorites in every season. It's just more of a matter of which ones would I watch over and over and over again.

You;ve never seen "Tabula Rasa"? The followup to "Once More, With Feeling?" Oh, DOOD! You can probalby find it online. It's a neat throwback to season 3, I think, with HUGE callbacks to "Dopplegangland." Enjoy!

My faves: Once More, With Feeling; The Body; The Gift; too many others to mention right now. I did my top 15 at one point on here...

I am a total freak. I know this. I accept this.

I've read the summaries of TR and can't wait to actually see it. I've never been able to get a downloaded eppy to function properly on my computer, so I'm not too worried about it right now.
