Wow.

I watched the season premier of Angel last night. Mostly spoiler-free I might add.

Wow.

It was excellent. It was way better than the last two episodes of Buffy have been. And you know me and my Buffy.

Fred scares me. Fred totally freaks the living shit out of me. Amy Acker fucking rocks as an actress. She's so sweet and charming and friendly and motherly and then she whips a stun gun out on your ass and fries you with a look of a wild wolf on her face. Daymn.

I don't like the guy who plays Connor. Part of it could be that the character is slightly less than stable, but mostly it's just that the kid is not in any way shape or form attractive, and that's kinda sad for such an attractive cast. Well, that and his acting ability is somewhat questionable. He's good, don't get me wrong, but... o_O

Lilah, Lilah, Lilah. There is a woman you would not want to work with. God I loved the part where she went a "little under" her bosses head and took over.

And I can definitely get used to seeing Wesley naked on this show. Hellloooooooooooo nurse! Albeit, the utter eepy-cray and un-caring demeanor can go away, but oh well.

Pissed off Daddy Angel. /drool Even with the decaying flesh look going, it was still a very /drool worthy event to see.

Most fantastic part of the episode? Cordelia, bathed in holy white tendrils of light in some heavenly dimension of bliss.

I went and read Loey's Early Bird review after watching the episode. She loved it even more fantastically than I did, so yay for Angel.
