Boring Thursday

Thursday was fairly uneventful. Got home, got email, caught up on reading (and pr0n, glee), then decided I wanted to make an Assamite.

That was boring.

Now, see, my problem with making an Assamite is that I don't think I could properly Role Play one. So, I made one that would be considered "unusual" and "new" for an Assamite. She (what, you thought I'd make a male? pfft!) was Asian-American and while she was a mortal she was an assasin. A very good assasin at that. Made the character, didn't give merits or flaws, didn't try writing out her history/description or anything. Just got bored. So I went to bed.

What I need to do is get the Clan books we don't have (for Revised, god I'm such a white-wolf whore) so that I can have the actual charsheets and the expanded disciplines and chargen recommendations for them.

Of course, I may be running a Werewolf chronicle soon. Very much looking forward to it. Brought my Werewolf books with me. I already have ideas for setting, now I'm just looking to get ideas for story.

Well, I'll post more on it later. Work is being busy.

Yo-Yo Banking

Ok, my balance in my bank account is too high... Maybe my math was off, but I thought for sure it'd be lower than that...

Not complaining. I think I'm actually only $50 ahead of my estimates. Of course, they were just estimates.

Interest fiddling

Played around with my Interests. Going to leave as is for the time being, then going to switch back to the huge ass list that I had before. May take a couple out of the old list and put a couple in from this list.

Random gaming thought

I keep looking at Miranda's character sheet and thinking that I really need to finish fleshing it out. I also need to adjust some things and possibly buy off a couple of her flaws. Some just wound up not making sense.

I have a problem with using some flaws. Some of them I do really well and I can handle them, but some of them require Storyteller intervention. Kinda hard to play up the "deep sleeper" flaw when the majority of the game takes place at night and the character is usually wide awake before the action starts. Of course, this is partially a flaw in crossover chronicles in general. In particular when you add Vampires into the mix.

Short Fuse has never come up in game. The character hasn't had enough air time for it to pop up and be used. It's a great flaw and an interesting trait when you take in the way she's been portrayed so far. She hasn't gotten into any really stressful situations as of yet, however. Well, other than the bar explosion scene, but that was just hillarious.

I need to make John use Bard's Tongue on me. Could tie into Short Fuse even.

Vengeful. Vengeful about what? Lordy, I didn't even write down what she has a gripe with in there.

Dark Secret. *queue Twilight Zone music* Well, this one is fairly obvious, and is tied to her Ally. She's a close Ally to a Tremere. Related by blood, to be exact. And the bond of family is stronger than any Blood Bond (to which she is immune anyway) could be.
