There's Something About Michigan...
Apparently everyone is having a shitty day. I'm not sure what it is.
amberthistle is having probably the least obviously horrible version of it, but she's not having a Fun Time.
mock_cat is having problems, which are being compounded by problems that others are having.
templar_rose,
rainbowravenx, and
brigittefires are having, what can only be termed "interesting times" apparently.
shawnj (who is not on my list, but is on my friendsfriends list) is having a bad day. Another guy who I forgot the screen name of but who I know lives in Michigan is having a strange day.
I think
satyr_mi should call in sick today, just to avoid the possibility. :-p But then I'd make him clean, and that would be a Bad Thing™ because he did all the cleaning for game night anyway.
Oh, yeah, and I am having a bad day, if you couldn't gather that from my first post of the day. :-p
Insert interesting and appropriate segue here.*
So, I didn't have to drive home yesterday.
lilacmoon5 and her husband were still over at our place from game night and they decided to go out to dinner and, based on my utter lack of sleep, recommended to
satyr_mi that the lot of them come get me so I wouldn't have to put up with the hella shitty roads on the way home. This was a Good Thing. We went out to eat at TGIFridays and then went home. I then pretty much passed out. I spent most of the ride home trying to relaxe and not have panic attacks. The roads were doing pretty good by that point, so it wasn't too bad.
I've been having panic attacks driving home from work on Sundays for the past couple months. Having been up for over 24 hours in most cases, it being dark, and it not being the best weather conditions makes for a very nerve wracking experience. It isn't the drive so much as the other dumbfucks who have no business driving that are the main issue.
satyr_mi says I need a vacation. This is true. Still not sure it's going to happen anytime soon. What I need is to finally have some of my debts 100% gone so that I can quit the second job. That'd be nice.
