Spork! Wait... That's not right...
I am bored. Ok, this is not entirely true. I am really fucking bored. Ok, that's not really true either. :-p
Sitting at work, went to a meeting, now back in cube land. Harassed my former supervisor for a bit on my way out of the meeting since I was right by her cubicle. Poor girl has to put up with phone calls now as well as e-mails (she works in Customer Care).
Um. Hmm. Brought books again. Hopefully get some actual work done with them. Would be nice, especially after Rampant Stupidity Tuesday™.
Speaking of...
Some friends of mine had a temporary roomate. We'll call her... Dumb Bitch. DB decides, sometime towards the middle to end of last week, to turn into a complete freak, move out, and stiff them on rent and utilities. She gets her shit, says she has it all, turns in her key and leaves. Her boyfriend later contacts my friends and tells them that DB managed to take off with some clothing of one of my friends. DB decides to show up at midnight one day to return them. Another time, after she had already vacated and said she had all her shit, she comes back and forces her way into the apartment, shoving and stepping on the foot of one of my friends causing a sprained toe. This was about two days ago.
So, last night, I go over to my friend's place but we can't get inside since his girlfriend had her keys, his keys were inside, and we had to wait for her to get back from the grocery store. So, we're sitting out there chatting and DB shows up. It's late, it's dark, she doesn't see us in my car. DB has not come alone, however. We first saw a police car come up with it's big ol' spotlight and shine it on the townhouse. DB comes up with a cop, and we hear the officer say something to the effect of "I don't think she'll hit you with us here". We sit there and wait for her to leave, and have a good laugh at her expense. 1) She's not on the lease. 2) She turned in her key to my friend who is in my car with me. 3) She is the one who has perpetrated physical violence against a tennant. 4) She was told to never come on the property again.
DB is lucky charges weren't filed for her unlawful entry and assault and battery. And for her stealing.
