I don't remember what time I woke up. I think I got out of bed at about 6:45. I hit snooze twice, so that sounds about right. I did play some City of Heroes while I ate some cereal. Took a really quick shower, made myself lunch, and headed out the door. I wound up being about 7 minutes late to work, but I refused to buy lunch at work again this week, so I didn't mind too much.
My workday? Pretty pathetic. I got very little done. I mean, I took my calls and all that, I just didn't really do much in the way of follow up on older cases. I was just not wanting to be at work yesterday. Of course, I found some spectacularly hillarious things online, as evidenced by the posts from yesterday, but that's not exactly a productive way to spend a day.
I came home after work and actually beat
satyr_mi home despite traffic. I opted to have Lean Pockets for dinner, since I didn't want to cook and couldn't order out. He got home as I was cooking, so I let him have the first two. We ate and chatted, and then I played a little more City of Heroes.
satyr_mi then asked if we could go rent movies, so I finished the missions I was working on (timed!), and we headed out. We rented Paycheck, Big Fish, and some X-Box game. Neither movies are ones I actually want to see, so he watched Paycheck (24 hour rental) and I went back to City of Heroes. After playing for a good long while, I read a bit of my book and then went to bed.
Good lord that day was minimalist. And yet, that pretty much was my day.
