Dinner last night was great. Went with Diana, Lisa, and Carl to my new apartment. Introduced them to my sister (who lives in the same complex) and went to Whitmore Lake Tavern. It's run by the same people who run Zukey Lake Tavern. Same food, same menu. Excellent excellent excellent food.

And, well, our waiter was Pat from SNL.

No, seriously, I'm not convinced this person was male. Everyone else thinks he was, and I'm tempted to believe so too, but if Pat were based on a real person, this would be it. Obviously, we're not talking all the disgusting suggestive things Pat does in the show or in the live act, but you get the idea. It was thoroughly disturbing. And we wound up waiting half an hour for our bill. While he ate his dinner. We were not happy. I paid with credit card and in the "tip" field I wrote the fact we waited half an hour for our bill and 'Pat' got zilch for a tip.

So, of course, my diet is still screwed. I seriously think I won't be able to stick to a really good diet program until I'm completely moved.

Well, here is my food situation from last night. We ordered bread sticks and mozza sticks (w/ french fries) as appetizers and I had 2 slices of pepperoni pizza. Earlier in the day I had eaten at subway. Foot long roast chicken sub. You know the drill on that one. Baked lays, and mountain dew. And I had a can of coke at one point.

I signed up for my phone service and put in an application for cable hookup. Had my sister do a referral so she can get a bonus and we can get our first month for a buck.

Calling gas today on my lunch break. We already did electric. That's really all of our utilities. Pretty nice.
