Friday Morning Update
Administration:
Happy birthday to
buzzwords!
Sleep:
Got to bed really late last night, but didn't oversleep too badly this morning. This is partially due to the fact that I set my alarm clock to be 10 minutes fast. Groggy brain did not remember this fact and rocketed me out of bed and into the shower at 7:10 this morning.
Of course, this was helped by the fact that both of my cats had decided they wanted to climb into bed with me at about 6:00 this morning. Daniel, as usual, plopped down by my feet cleaning himself. William, as usual, climbed up on my chest and started looking for the most direct way to headbut me.
Reading:
Of course, the real reason I was up so late last night is that I was finishing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I was less than 1/4 of the way through the book when I came to work yesterday morning. I read for about 30 minutes during my lunch break. I then started reading at around 7:30 after getting home.
I finished it by 12:30. This is with one break for dinner, one break to get snacks, a break to feed the cats, a break to check email, a break to go to the bathroom, and a break to get ready for bed.
Here's to hoping I can finish Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in one sitting tonight at work. ;-)
