More Shopping:
Because, you know, I really need to buy more books this week. :-p

Went to The Underworld after work last night. Bought Chaining the Beast (paths of enlightenment for Vampire), Tradition Book: Order of Hermes (for Mage, duh), and The Magic Box for Buffy. Also grabbed a graphic novel that's a Buffy and Angel crossover. Didn't read it yet, though.

The Magic Box has a character sheet for "Darth Rosenberg". =^_^= Evil Willowy Goodness! =^_^=

Food:
Lunch will be a small salad today, if that much. Breakfast was huge, again. :-p Dinner last night was even more so. Ordered pizza from Hungry Howies just so that I could have a menu from there at home. :-p

More posts to come. Don't want to bog everything down in one.

Hehehe.

The stats are interesting. Of course, built off of the buffy rpg stats they don't look too impressive. Her Sorcery trait went from 9 (her normal rating) to 14 after sucking up the books, and up to 20-something when killing Rack, and then up to 30 when draining Giles.

It was creeeeeeepy.

I know the system ... wow!

You go girl! Of course, to get this she had to go all veiny.

What did she do/use to drain the various people?

They describe a "Power Boost" spell/ability in the book. One version is a spell (that must be cast by 13 witches/warlocks simultaneously) and the others are either power-drains or natural abilities.

The real benefit, though, is that while "boosted" (for a number of spells equal to the amount of boost you gained) your full Sorcery level is added to TK and whatnot instead of just the first 5 levels. Of course, if you get a lot more Boost than you have in your Willpower trait, you take on emotional behaviors associated with the source of the power. (Willow wanting to end pain [albeit in an extreme way] after stealing Giles' power, for example.)
