Random Tidbit
I am always amazed at the sheer stupidity of people who post at gamefaqs.com or, in general, to game help sites.
As if they couldn't go to the faq section and read one of the billion faq's covering their exact question.
As if they couldn't possibly be bothered to maybe look in the instruction manual.
As if they obviously were incapable of noticing the four topics on the first page of the forum with the exact same stupid question they were asking, all of which were answered by the same 3 or 4 intelligent people who have far more patience with these lucky examples of genetic stupidity gone haywire than I do.

I was once involved in the procurement of a major situation-awareness system. The technical part of the RFQ was about 400 pages.
In the first meetings with various vendors, repeatedly someone asked a question that was clearly, unambiguously, and explicitly answered already in the RFQ. Typically after a third or fourth time I answer "Let's read section 04.3.2.4 paragraph 17. What do you need in addition to this?" the vendor's manager-type person would call their team in a huddle. Then they'd request another meeting at a later date.
Apparently they had not bothered to read the RFQ; perhaps it is not usual for the customer to write an RFQ that actually contains useful requirements.

People don't want to have to read and/or look things up on their own. Instant results means they aren't doing the work. Someone who actually has a clue is doing it instead. Oh well.
