Wednesday Morning Update

BUFFY BUFFY BUFFY BUFFY:
Bought Season 5 last night! =^_^= Watched Buffy vs. Dracula (ok, I skipped half of it cuz it was far too cheesy) and Real Me. Watched the second one twice. Once normally and once with audio commentary. Started to watch The Replacment, but I was too tired so went to bed.

Of course, this is the season of Glory. And the season when we learn the horrible truth about Tara!! (she comes from a dysfunctional family. who knew?) And we all get bask in the fantasy of DoubleXanderyGoodness. Oh, yeah, and Spike has a Buffy-Sexbot made. :-p

Sleepless Night:
Poor satyr_mi was very sick last night, but he's feeling better now. I hope he's sleeping right now. He was really really miserable last night. :( *hugs*

Swag:
I'm wearing my long sleeved, official Fourth Wall t-shirt. I think I got the long sleeved one size too big, cuz it's sorta like I'm swimming in it. Ah well. Maybe I'll get another one at some point...

Season 5 was were I started enjoying the show less. For seasons 5 and 6. I despised Dawn. She was, however, not bad at all in the final season.

I really need to rewatch season 4 (once I get the dvd's anyway). I had a big Tara dislike in that season, but it was because I thought she was eeeeeeee-ville. They made her really a suspicious character. Starting in season 5 though, I came to really really like her. So I need to rewatch 4, which I haven't seen more than isolated episodes of since it was first run.

I actually think Season 5 was one of the best. Dawn was annoying. She was also 14!

I always liked Tara. She was cool. Of course, I already had turned into a total spoiler whore by the end of Season 5, so I had like, no surprises as to what was going on in the series.

See, the thing with Dawn is that sooo many people were surprised with how much they disliked her at first.

I was like "Um, hello, she's the younger teenaged sister of a SUPERHERO... what were you expecting? Pollyanna?"

No, not Polyanna...just not quite such a whiny b***h. I dunno, I didn't care for the character at all, and that made me not enjoy the season, as it was very focused on her. I was sooooooo cheering for Evil Willow when she threatened Dawn. *g*
